Hey, does anyone here know about the MST3k-related fanfiction AU I was writing? Well... I continue to dabble around with that thing whenever I'm burned out on my 'real' fanfiction,* and I... somehow managed to write a new chapter. Look behind the cut(s) (I figured no one here was following the original story, so I posted the first two chapters as well). These proved too big to fit in just one journal, so this one is just the old first chapter. Note: It does improve slightly after the this chapter, which is mainly infodump. ( Chapter 1 ) *'Real' fanfiction is the biggest oxymoron in the free universe. |

First, I have to warn that a) the markers I used on this had dark, funky colors, and it wrecked it b) this picture isn't on dA because it has Both Syllables spoilers, FYI c) there is a similar but much better picture by ckret2, but they're both based off the intro to Invader Zim. So I thought it was okay. If I thought wrong, please say so. ( Reporting for duty )Now... concrit? (But not on the coloring, please. That went terribly wrong out of my control.) |

Went on a bit of an icon-making spree today. XR is sad.  Now he's SERIOUS.  XR and the LGMs demonstrate their knowledge of classic literature with some fictional words from Watership Down. Bonus points if you know what they mean.   Now XR is shocked.  Now Strong Bad feels driven to protect his catchphrase.  Now Homestar wishes to assert the fact that he can spell his own name.  Now Strong Bad pimps his comic.  And asserts his hatred of Homsar.  And XR denies the existence of Santa Claus.  Not to be outdone, Zim throws a screaming fit just for the heck of it.  And is very dismayed.  If you want to use any, go ahead, but crediting would be appreciated. |

HP 620lx. It's a palmtop. A little bitty computer, with little bitty capabilities. I use it to type fics and play card games. That's all, and that's all I want from it. Until. Until one day, I want to upgrade the crappy basic Solitaire game I have on it and get Spider. Spider. I like that card game. It's my favorite. And it's- apparently- available for download, in palmtop format, in a lot of different places. Until you actually try to download and install it and get fifteen freakin' different error messages with NOTHING to show for it. I JUST WANT ONE LITTLE CARD GAME IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK REALLY? IS IT? And HOLY CRAP CARLY SMITHSOOOOON NO COME BACK I LOVEDED YOOOOOOU ;~; Okay, now I feel like rambling about fanfiction works-in-progress... If you don't want to be spoiled for anything (yeah right, heaven forbid anyone should be that interested in my fanfiction) then don't read. Unless you're ckret2, in which case you're my beta (provided you still want to do it) and will wind up spoiled anyway. Speaking of betas, I'd appreciate them for my L&S and BLoSC fics if anyone's interested. (I'd also appreciate someone who's willing to IM with me about it, but that's not a requirement, I can use whatever method of communication works for you.) ( Read more... )That's about it for now. Well, every so often I start writing a fic and run out of ideas before the story really gets started, so I have... roughly 1/10 of a fic. Below are some ficstubs I started writing and then crapped out on. This journal is for BLoSC ficstubs; the next one will have IZ ficstubs. Ficstubs is fun to say. Ficstubs ficstubs ficstubs. Now, if you see something you want to expand on, possibly, go ahead and take it. (I mean, I know you guys have plenty of ideas of your own, but.) Copypaste what's there even.
